Project Overview

This Residensi Merbok project in Nibong Tebal, Penang was undertaken as a comprehensive full-house interior design and renovation, bringing together space planning, renovation works, customised cabinetry and interior detailing within one coordinated residential project.

One of the distinctive custom features of the project is the made-to-measure open wardrobe in the master bedroom.

Unlike a conventional fully enclosed wardrobe, an open wardrobe changes how storage becomes part of the room's visual environment.

This means organisation, proportions and the relationship between the wardrobe and surrounding bedroom interior become particularly important.

Designing the wardrobe specifically for the available space allowed the storage system to become an integrated part of the master-bedroom concept rather than simply adding a standalone furniture piece.
