Client Brief

The objective was to transform the office into a bright, practical and professional working environment with clearly defined spaces for different functions.

A key part of the design was maintaining an open visual character. Glass partitions were incorporated to separate individual office and meeting spaces without making the overall workplace feel enclosed, while the existing large windows allow natural daylight to remain an important part of the interior.

Design Concept

Clean Contemporary Corporate Interior

The Synbone office adopts a restrained contemporary design language based around white surfaces, glass, warm wood finishes and black accents.

This creates a workplace that feels bright and uncluttered while retaining enough warmth to avoid an overly clinical corporate appearance.

The combination of transparent partitions and large external windows also improves the visual connection between different areas of the office. Instead of relying heavily on solid enclosed walls, the design allows light and sightlines to continue through the workplace.

Glass-Partitioned Office Spaces

One of the most prominent features visible in the completed project is the extensive use of full-height glass partitions.

These partitions provide physical separation between workspaces while maintaining visual openness. Slim framing and clear glazing help reduce the visual weight of the enclosed rooms and allow natural daylight from the perimeter windows to penetrate deeper into the office.

The result is a more open and contemporary workplace without sacrificing the functional separation required for individual offices and discussion areas.

The predominantly white interior is balanced with warm timber finishes used for worktops, cabinetry and selected architectural elements.

A separate dining table provides another place for staff to take breaks and interact away from their workstations.

The lounge introduces a more relaxed atmosphere compared with the working areas.

Black lounge seating, a glass coffee table and warm timber detailing create a simple but professional visitor and staff waiting environment. The large external glazing brings substantial daylight into the space, helping the lounge feel brighter and more spacious.

The feature timber wall provides visual contrast and gives the otherwise neutral space a stronger focal point.
